The Ninth Air Law Conference will be held in Saint-Petersburg, on October 4. This event is organized by the National Association of Air Law and AEROHELP Institute of Air and Space Law, with the support of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Federal Authority for Transport Oversight, Ministry of Transport of Russian Federation and Interstate Aviation Committee. Scientific partners of the Conference are the Saint-Petersburg State University of Civil Aviation and the International Institute of Air and Space Law at Leiden University.

    LEONOV Aleksey Leading Expert on Relations with the Aviation Authorities at Volga-Dnepr Airlines The Air Law Conference, held annually in St. Petersburg by the AEROHELP Institute, is one of the few events for meetings of experts in the field of air law in Russia. During these meetings, the participants of the conference have an excellent opportunity not only to hear reports of foreign colleagues on air law issues, discuss the most pressing issues of legal regulation of air transport activities, and exchange experience in this field. Live communication with industry colleagues, scientists, representatives of national regulators allows the conference participants to take a fresh look at the law enforcement practice of regulating the activities of international air transport in various jurisdictions.

VENUE

The Ninth Scientific Air Law Conference will be held on October 4, 2019 in the outstanding monument of the cultural heritage of Russia - the family mansion of Count Zubov, located in the heart of brilliant St. Petersburg. At present, at the interiors of the Zubov mansion, modeled on the Institute for the History of Arts in Florence are located the Russian Institute for the History of Art, founded by Count Valentin Zubov in 1912. The institute quickly became the center of science and artistic life in the Northern capital. Many famous scientists, musicians, artists and poets of the Silver Age, including Blok and Yesenin, Meyerhold and Mayakovsky, performed in its walls, and Gumilyov and Lozinsky, Tynyanov and Eikhenbaum taught in its classrooms. Today, as before, scientific, educational, cultural and educational events are regularly held at the Zubov Institute.
