Anna KHOMYAKOVA Director of Legal Department at Aeroflot AirlinesOver the years, working in various fields, I have had the opportunity to take part in industry legal events, and I must say that the Air Law Conference has taken a worthy place in my personal rating of such events. Current topics were discussed, interesting opinions were expressed, behind the scenes there were disputes, discussions, and exchange of experience. The Conference personally for me gave the opportunity to meet new interesting people, provided an opportunity for comfortable communication with colleagues in the industry, gave the opportunity to consider some issues from a different angle, for which special thanks to the organizers who provided the right selection of topics, speakers and delegates.
Mustafa Cem ARTEKIN Founder & Partner of Artekin Law Firm, Academician, Professional LecturerConference provides a distinguished academic and business network atmosphere, which is arising on attendance of reputable jurists and very professional organizational set-up of the event. Conference enhances its content further each year with actual and important topics of air law, very good panels and remarkable presentations. As an international lawyer, academician and a professional lecturer, I highly recommend and encourage jurists from all around the world to attend this Conference. It turned into a habit of impatience for me to attend this Conference each year not just only for its well-known high level content quality but also for meeting with valuable colleagues and brilliant law students.
Zeina AHMAD PhD Student, Academician, College of Law at Sharjah University, LL.M.This conference offers an exceptional blend of academic and business networking opportunities, thanks to the presence of esteemed jurists and a highly professional organizational setup. Each year, the event enhances its content with timely and significant topics in air law, featuring outstanding panels and remarkable presentations. As an air and space lawyer, academician, and professional lecturer, I highly recommend and encourage jurists worldwide to attend this conference. It has become eagerly anticipated, not only for its renowned high-quality content but also for the chance to connect with valuable colleagues and brilliant law professionals.
Andrey POTEMKIN Deputy Head of Federal Air Transport AgencyThe idea of holding an annual Air Law Conference, in my opinion, is very successful. Firstly, during the year the regulation in different sectors of civil aviation changes, both in sovereign legal orders and at the international level. Secondly, public relations in the aviation sphere change, priorities shift, new trends arise, which, in turn, stimulates doctrine and legal consulting to master new areas of legal protection and servicing of market participants. Therefore, for many colleagues the Conference is a popular and useful forum where current problems of the industry are raised and discussed. I wish all delegates fruitful work at the upcoming Conference in Dubai!
Olga KOLOSHICH Head of Legal and HR Department at the Department of Aviation of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of BelarusI would like to thank the Conference organizers for holding a professional event in the field of civil aviation and international air law. The Conference touches upon the main issues currently existing in the aviation industry. And undoubtedly, a discussion at such a high level among representatives of aviation authorities, prominent representatives of the air law doctrine, lawyers of airlines, airports and law firms is necessary and essential for the industry. I would especially like to note the professional approach to the selected topics discussed at the Conference. And of course, the excellent cultural program and communication with colleagues from different countries. I recommend everyone who works in the air transport industry to join this annual event.
The architectural monument of the 16th-18th centuries – the magnificent palace and castle complex of Nesvizh Castle, located in the North-Eastern part of the City of Nesvizh in the Minsk Area of the Republic of Belarus, was chosen to host the Fourteen Air Law Conference. It was founded by Prince N. H. Radziwill Sirotka in 1582, and the main works were completed by 1600. The built castle became one of the best fortresses of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. In 1660, the fortress withstood a two-month siege by Moscow troops, and during the Northern War, in 1706, the Swedish army led by Charles XII plundered the castle and completely destroyed its fortifications. The newly rebuilt princely residence now became, first of all, the center of cultural life. During the German occupation, a military hospital operated in the castle, and after liberation in 1944, a decision was made to organize a sanatorium, which operated until 2001. The architectural, residential and cultural complex of the Radziwills was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2005. After the completion of restoration work, in July 2012, the exposition of the Nesvizh Museum-Reserve was fully opened to visitors.
